BASIC SAILS

Cruising mainsail

Your Yacht and the Waters You Sail On. Thanks to CAD technology, we guarantee precise sail cutting, and the use of top-quality Dacron ensures durability for many seasons. We also offer comprehensive mainsail repairs — from patching tears and replacing batten pockets and bolt ropes to reinforcing critical stress points. Your mainsail will regain its former performance and appearance.

Designed with recreational and charter sailing in mind, this sail is built to deliver reliable and predictable power across a variety of conditions, while remaining easy to handle and highly durable. A cruising sail is more versatile — it must perform well in light winds and withstand harsher conditions when necessary.

We offer assistance in sail selection and measurement, and we approach each project individually.

  • Key Features: Usually made from durable Dacron. Can be equipped with any number of reef points, allowing you to reduce sail area in stronger winds. Fabric weight is matched to the size of your yacht. We use only premium materials from trusted manufacturers.
  • Advantages: Durability, long service life, resistance to harsh conditions and crew mistakes.
  • Disadvantages: Heavier and less efficient compared to racing sails.
  • Specifications: The fabric weight, sail shape, and finishing details (battens, reef points, sliders, type of bolt rope) are customized to match the size of your boat, the type of waters you sail (coastal or inland), and your personal preferences.
Available fabric weights range from 160 g/m² to 640 g/m².
